The Spirit World in Plain English is a compilation of shared thoughts, observations, experiences and practices Santoshan and I have found useful in our own search and unfoldment.
Like any two authors, we come from slightly different backgrounds. But we also share vast areas of common ground. This was how we were able to work so closely together on many chapters.
The motive behind writing the following pages was not to add more concepts to people’s knowledge of mediumship and spirituality, but to serve as a practical guide to various aspects of unfoldment which will, I hope, help readers in their quests to become more receptive to the wholeness of growth and unfold numerous gifts that interconnect with the spirit.
In approaching mediumistic and spiritual unfoldment, there are no set rules to follow to reach a specific goal. There are only guidelines and pointers that can be offered. It is up to each of us to decide which roads we wish to take that are best suited to our nature. Ultimately, mediumistic and spiritual unfoldment are active and evolving paths that lead to new and profound experience and deep communion with the world of the spirit.
Those who are open and inclusive in the paths they tread, will find more areas of their lives receptive to unfoldment and will take part in the spirit’s work in more fruitful ways. The time to start out on this quest is now, as the present holds many possibilities. All we need to do is be responsive to positive growth and willing to be more active instruments for the compassionate and creative work of the spirit.
